Intake Procedure
We accept calls from Massachusetts prisoners and their family members on Monday afternoon from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM, or Tuesdays after Monday holidays.
Since the Prisoners’ Legal Services’ phone lines can get very busy, prisoners are also encouraged to write to us anytime at:

PLS receives well over 2,000 requests for advice or assistance each year. Non-English speakers seeking assistance may also contact us as we are able to provide interpretation services. Please note, we strongly urge prisoners to contact us directly if possible as we cannot advocate without hearing from the prisoner.
